Highlights on the show floor will include Zünd’s PreCut Center software that facilitates cut-file preparation for cutting jobs involving unprinted materials; BASF’s injection-molding pultrusion for seating applications, which was recently used to reduce the weight of the 2022 Toyota Tundra seat structure by 20%; and Continental’s Benova Eco Protect upholstery material, designed to make vehicle interiors more sustainable, durable and comfortable.
The show is all about quality, sustainability, color, texture, touch, feel and innovation. Specialty finishes are a strong theme, with companies offering manufacturing solutions for colorized chromes, textured surfaces
and many other specialty finishes.
Exhibits include a wide range of fabrics, acoustic materials, shape-forming materials and foams, fasteners and adhesive systems, and lighting. Manufacturing systems are also on show, including cutting and stitching machines, materials optimization software, adhesives and bonding systems and production technologies for improved manufacturing efficiency and speed.
The show is a must-visit for all manufacturers of interior parts, as well as for interior design teams from OEMs wanting to keep up with the changing world of materials, finishes, technologies and production processes. It takes place alongside Automotive Testing Expo, the world’s leading global event for test and development engineering for cars and trucks, where there are some 270 additional exhibitors to view.
