Sanken specializes in the creation of inventive interior and exterior components and materials. The company is actively engaged in researching and developing acoustic materials tailored for new-energy vehicles (BEV) in response to the impending carbon neutrality requirements.
Featured at Automotive Interiors Expo Europe in Stuttgart is an array of products, including recycled thermoplastic felt designed for dash insulators in acoustic battery-electric vehicles. Additionally, recycled PET+PP fiber, serving an anti-icing function, is being showcased for inner fenders. For seating applications, visitors can explore the innovative NPP200, NPP300 and Dirore nonwoven skins.
Tsuji Ayumu, sales manager at Sanken Electronic Manufacturing (Dongguan), explained, “As an innovator for interiors and exteriors, we are attending the show to showcase our materials, which are mainly made of recycled PET+PP fibers. Our materials can be used for automotive openers and dashboards, as well as in packing materials and batteries. All of our products are developed internally.”
