The open two-seater combines “aesthetics and dynamics at the highest level”, the auto maker says, drawing inspiration from historic models such as the BMW Z8 and BMW 503.
BMW says the Concept Skytop is characterized by its “flowing, sporty elegance” and “muscular stance”. Both the interior and exterior feature warm monochromatic colors, blending exclusive materials with traditional craftsmanship.

The interior includes leather-finished roll-over bars, side fins on the B-pillar and a fully retractable rear window. The two removable leather roof parts can be stored in a special compartment in the luggage space.
The color scheme ensures a smooth transition from interior to exterior, with the reddish-brown tone of the roof blending into the muted silver and chrome shadow effect of the exterior paintwork.
Brogue-style leather surfaces and crystal applications in the cockpit add to the luxurious and spacious feel of the interior, with the surfaces crafted in the traditional saddlery of the BMW Group plant in Dingolfing, in southern Bavaria, Germany.

The exterior design features clean lines and taut, muscular surfaces, which are directed toward the rear of the vehicle. Winglets integrated into the door shoulders replace traditional door handles and light-alloy wheels with precise lamellas enhance its appearance.
A pronounced spline extends from the hood through the interior to an aluminum trim on the tailgate, emphasizing the dynamic flow of the silhouette.
