Chan Park has been appointed head of interior design at Škoda Auto, effective June 3, 2024.
He brings extensive experience from his tenure at several major automotive brands, and the interior of Škoda’s production and concept vehicles will soon bear Park’s signature. In addition to a minimalist design approach, Park will focus on enhancing the synergy between driver and vehicle.
His predecessor, Peter Olah, is taking on a new role at Škoda Design and will be responsible for the Art Direction – One Design Identity in the future. He will be in charge of defining and overseeing a holistic 360° design strategy including philosophy, style and future trend research.

Most recently, Park was chief interior designer of automobile manufacturer Nio. He completed his master’s degree in vehicle design at the Royal College of Art in London in 2007 and began his professional career at Pininfarina in Italy, before moving onto roles at Kia Europe, Mercedes-Benz and Audi.
