Global software engineering and consulting firm Intellias has announced a partnership with Japanese map data provider Zenrin to develop digital maps for vehicle navigation systems.
As active members of the Navigation Data Standard (NDS) association, Intellias and Zenrin contribute efficient and accurate mapping technology: Intellias brings its extensive experience in mapping and navigation to commercial projects with global clients; and Zenrin brings its more than 70 years of expertise in mapping services, including comprehensive maps of Japan.

Zenrin approached Intellias to transform and optimize its Japanese map data for global delivery. Both companies say they plan to explore further development opportunities, applying new technologies for mutual business growth.
As part of its globalization initiative, Intellias is aiming to expand its APAC presence through new alliances, and by partnering with Zenrin, Intellias says it will be able to expand its footprint in Asia and demonstrate its capabilities in mapping solutions development.
