Skoda has updated its Skoda Connect app, integrating the features that were previously used in OneApp.
Owners previously had to use two apps for different connectivity features, but Skoda tells Automotive Interiors World (AIW) that OneApp will be discontinued, and data will be migrated to Skoda Connect.
They are combined through one-time registration and information is available on devices such as smartphones and smartwatches or through the car’s central infotainment display.
Skoda tells AIW that the app supports all models equipped with SmartLink+ and Skoda Connect.
Before the update, Skoda Connect provided online services such as remote locking or arranging an appointment at a service partner.
Skoda OneApp provided real-time vehicle data or trip planning, among other features.
