Provider of video telematics and fleet management solutions IdriveAI has launched the Pro7, a dual-camera dashcam designed to enhance vehicle safety and driver monitoring. The Pro7 includes both road-facing and driver-facing cameras, providing a large range of coverage and 14 advanced AI detections, such as real-time fatigue and distraction detection, facial recognition, tailgating alerts and predictive analytics for driver coaching.
The Pro7 is designed for high storage capacity, supporting various connectivity options and functioning in extreme environments, making it a suitable tool for fleet management. Additional features include AI-based custom accelerometer settings, security screws and a locking kit.
An improvement in the Pro7 is its ease of installation; the device is self-installable and auto calibrates. The company says it can be connected via OBD, JBUS or a standard three-wire connection. When connected through the OBD port, the Pro7 serves a dual purpose as both a dashcam and an OBD data aggregator, eliminating the need for a separate GPS tracker.
Captured events are securely transferred to the cloud and are accessible via the Idrive Nexus platform on all devices, including a mobile app for iOS and Android. This integration enables real-time monitoring and data analysis, providing fleet managers with essential tools to enhance operational efficiency and driver safety. An infrared sensor also ensures reliable operation even in low-light conditions.
“The Pro7 sets a new standard in fleet safety and efficiency,” said Calin Mihalascu, chief revenue officer at IdriveAI. “Its advanced dual-camera system and real-time AI-driven features provide unparalleled safety and efficiency for our customers. With a dedicated video and neural processing unit (TOPS 2.5), the Pro7 offers lightning-fast data processing and accurate driver monitoring. The ability to simultaneously monitor driver behavior and road conditions significantly reduces risks and enhances operational performance.”
