Following the launch of the all-new Mini Cooper Electric, two new petrol models have been introduced, the Mini Cooper C and Mini Cooper S. Offering three well-specified trim levels – Classic, Exclusive and Sport – the new Mini Cooper enables personalization both inside and out, with each trim offering distinct interior as well as exterior customization options.
Inspired by the classic Mini, the interior of the Mini Cooper emphasizes minimalistic design and functionality. Featuring a textile surface dashboard crafted from recycled polyester, the cabin focuses on three main elements: the new Vescin steering wheel, a circular OLED display and a toggle bar for accessing driving functions. The OLED display serves as the central hub for operating vehicle functions via touch or voice control, while the toggle bar provides convenient access to driving features.
The circular OLED display offers seven Mini Experience Modes, enabling drivers to personalize the cabin ambiance and display settings to match their preferences.
The vehicle has been designed to provide a spacious interior, with features including an opening panoramic glass sunroof and a wireless charging shelf. The rear seats fold down in a 60:40 ratio to expand the luggage compartment, providing up to 725 liters of cargo space.
Safety and convenience are also prioritized in the new Cooper models, with driver assistance systems such as the Safe Exit function and Driving Assistant Plus package ensuring safe and comfortable driving experiences.
The Mini Intelligent Personal Assistant (IPA) enables drivers to control various vehicle functions using voice commands, and the Mini Digital Key Plus function enables smartphone integration for keyless entry and personalized vehicle settings.
The vehicle will also come with the option of two brand-new exterior colors – sunny side yellow and ocean wave green – continuing the auto maker’s emphasis on customization.
Stefanie Wurst, head of Mini, said, “At Mini, ‘Power of Choice’ means that in addition to all-electric Mini models, we also offer models such as the new Mini Cooper with petrol engine. The car is ideal for all those people who want to drive a classic Mini three-door and appreciate the traditional performance and characteristic sound of a combustion engine.”
