For 2021 Mazda has added a host of interior features to its CX-5, including an expansive, 10.5in central display, the largest it has ever fitted.
Complementing the new display, the infotainment system incorporates both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality, as well as access to Mazda’s connected services and an in-built wi-fi hotspot. A Bose, 10-speaker premium audio system is available as an option.
The company has also upped the interior luxury level, with various trim levels offering leatherette seats, plus eight-way adjustment and memory settings for the driver and six-way adjustment for the passenger. There is also a host of driver aids, including a 360° camera and a driver attention alert system.
Even the most basic specification CX-5 is set to include functions such as radar cruise control, brake support with pedestrian detection and blind spot monitoring. And on the top-of-the-range Signature spec, occupants are provided with changeable ambient LED lighting and the driver with a frameless, auto-dimming rearview mirror.
