KGM Motors UK has launched the all-new Torres. This C+ segment SUV is the first vehicle informed by the brand’s new Powered by Toughness design philosophy while retaining KGM’s original SUV characteristics.
Inspired by Chile’s Torres del Paine National Park, the Torres comes in two trim levels: the entry-level K30 and the high-spec K40. The AWD K40 variant is set to launch this summer, following the April debut of the pure-electric Torres EVX.
The Torres offers a modern, comfortable interior space. The spacious dashb provides an unobstructed view, and is complemented by a stylish four-spoke steering wheel with integrated controls. Metal accents and ambient lighting add sophistication to the leather upholstery.
The SUV features a user-friendly twin-panoramic 12.3in digital display cluster and infotainment system with standard features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth and DAB radio. The cabin has ample cabin and load space, including various storage compartments and a concealed storage area beneath the load floor.
Torres also incorporates intelligent driver safety and assistance features, enhancing both safety and driving experience.
Kevin Griffin, managing director of KGM UK, said, “Torres is the first to reinterpret our future design vision, which draws heavily on our unique heritage. Its launch marks an exciting, new era for design, performance, and product with all models moving forward adhering to this new approach.
“The SUV market is continually expanding and subdividing, and with Torres, we are filling the gap between semi-medium-sized SUVs such as Korando and large SUVs like Rexton. This move will create an additional segment in the market and open new opportunities for us as we continue to develop our product offering that adds value and originality.”
