The Sunrise Cockpit Concept from VIA Optronics and Antolin was honored in the Smart Cockpit category at the 6th Gasgoo Awards in Shangai, China, last month. The advanced concept is designed for a seamless transition between manual and autonomous driving.
The result of a strategic alliance between Antolin and VIA Optronics, the Sunrise Cockpit reportedly sets a new benchmark in user experience and display integration. The demonstrator features 3D surface displays, tactile interfaces, dynamic lighting and vegetal coverings.
It features a sleek and minimalist design, integrated displays, smart surfaces, and on-demand technologies for an enhanced user experience. The cockpit incorporates sustainable materials in its construction.
The 2024 Gasgoo Awards highlighted 10 key sectors: smart cockpit; intelligent driving; intelligent chassis; automotive software; automotive-grade chip; big data and AI; powertrain and EV charging and battery swapping; thermal management; vehicle body and interior and exterior; and new materials.
Monica Ai, the managing director of Antolin China, accepted the award on behalf of both companies.
