Developed entirely from scratch, the Ford E-Tourneo Courier features a spacious cabin and practical design aesthetics to deliver an all-electric vehicle capable of carrying five adults and a large amount of luggage, thanks to trunk space that is 44% larger than that of the Tourneo Courier, which is being replaced.
The rear bench within the multi-activity vehicle is split 60/40 to ensure the vehicle can cater to different customer needs. Furthermore, the E-Tourneo Courier delivers enhanced shoulder room and headroom for passengers in addition to a configurable center console, a hidden cubby in the trunk and a frunk (front trunk) with a 44-liter capacity. Users can choose from a wide range of seat fabrics to customize their vehicles.
Bringing the E-Tourneo into the modern age is a ‘digiboard’ instrument panel that consists of a fully digital instrument cluster and Ford’s SYNC 4 infotainment system, which is controlled using a 12in touchscreen.
The vehicle’s fully connected cabin supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration and includes a phone charging pad. Additionally, the latest Ford vehicle benefits from being over-the-air compatible to deliver future updates to enhance functionality.
“We designed E-Tourneo Courier to help customers get the most out of life – whether out with family and friends or coming home with the rear seats flipped and bikes in the back – and the exterior design expresses that ‘no-nonsense’ character,” said Amko Leenarts, design director at Ford, Europe. “The SUV‑inspired design is rugged outside and roomy inside, while the modern EV details add exclusivity and clearly announce E‑Tourneo Courier as part of Ford’s electric revolution.”
