BMW has introduced the all-new M4 CS, which features interior improvements alongside enhanced engine output and chassis tuning. Positioned between track-focused performance and everyday driving comfort, the new M4 CS is designed to appeal to enthusiasts seeking a dynamic driving experience.
The M4 CS interior reflects a blend of racing-inspired elements and everyday comfort features. M Carbon bucket seats, upholstered in Merino leather with a Black/Red color scheme, provide both racing-car feel and long-distance comfort. The cockpit is further enhanced with M-specific on the BMW Curved Display, angled toward the driver for enhanced visibility and control.
Components such as the centre console and shift paddles are made from carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) components in order to save weight. The M-specific Setup button enables customizable vehicle configuration, while M Drive Professional presents track-optimized functions such as the M Drift Analyser and M Laptimer.
In addition to performance enhancements, the M4 CS has a range of comfort features and driver assistance systems, including BMW Live Cockpit Professional, Comfort Access and Park Distance Control.
Further highlights of the upgraded M4 CS include a boosted engine output of 550hp, coupled with model-specific chassis tuning for improved handling.
Two new BMW individual paint finishes, Riviera Blue and Frozen Isle of Man Green, provide customers with additional customization options, while the latest version of the BMW iDrive display and control/operation system is based on BMW Operating System 8.5 for connectivity and intuitive control of vehicle functions.
Production of the new BMW M4 CS is set to commence in July 2024 at BMW Group Plant Dingolfing, Germany, with order books opening in late May.
