Scheduled for release in the UK on April 30, the Audi Q6 e-tron quattro and SQ6 e-tron have been designed to elevate the electric mobility experience by blending technology with luxurious comfort and style.
A key part of the Q6 e-tron’s allure is its revamped interior. Characterized by a “three-dimensional, high-contrast design”, the interior architecture prioritizes both aesthetics and ergonomics, says Audi.
Interior features include the Audi MMI panoramic display and the MMI passenger display, which serve as a digital centerpiece, and are integrated into the overall design.
Crafted with sustainability in mind, the Q6 e-tron interior employs recycled materials alongside high-quality elements to create an “homogeneous and enveloping feeling of space”. Functional yet visually appealing design elements ensure a clear differentiation between various vehicle areas, Audi says.
Powered by the new Premium Platform Electric (PPE), the Q6 e-tron’s spacious interior offers ample storage. Rear-seat comfort is also elevated with a middle seat without a center tunnel, while the trunk offers 526 liters of storage, expandable to 1,529 liters with the rear-seat bench folded down.
The E3 1.2 electronic architecture enhances vehicle digitalization. Equipped with five high-performance computers, the E3 (End-to-End Electronic) architecture controls all vehicle functions.
The e-tron interior’s ‘Digital Stage’ comprises the Audi MMI panoramic display, the MMI passenger display and the Augmented Reality Head-Up Display, and integrates virtual content with reality, providing intuitive navigation, entertainment and communication functionalities.
The vehicle’s infotainment system, powered by Android Automotive OS, offers access to a wide range of apps and services, with over-the-air updates keeping content current. A Bang & Olufsen Premium sound system and enhanced route planner also feature.
