NetRange, a provider of automotive platforms and smart TV solutions, is collaborating with Dailymotion, a video sharing and enterprise technology company to enhance in-car video infotainment.
The collaboration will see the integration of the Dailymotion app and video technology into the NetRange Smart TV app store and Access Twine for Car (Twine4Car) in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) platforms. These platforms include an automotive-centric app store featuring car-specific apps, games and audio and video entertainment content and services.
As a subsidiary of software company Access, NetRange serves as a key content partner for the smart TV and IVI industries. Access’ Twine4Car combines an IVI platform and a white-label in-car app store, designed for auto makers to provide entertainment services, including video, audio and games, across various car interfaces.
“We are excited to partner with NetRange, a leader in the automotive platform industry,” said John Offreda, VP of OVP of partnerships, North America and LATAM at Dailymotion. “We aim to redefine the in-car video infotainment experience, offering users a diverse and extensive library of videos.”
Michi Uematsu, CTO of Access, added, “This partnership is a natural progression toward revolutionizing how users experience and interact with video content. As the integration of Dailymotion’s technology and content into the NetRange Smart TV app store and Twine4Car platform unfolds, users can look forward to a transformative and engaging entertainment experience that surpasses conventional limits.”
