Tesla has released a sneak preview video of what’s to come in the company’s soon-to-be-released vehicle update.
Owners of the new Tesla Model S and Model X vehicles will soon be able to play thousands of games through the car’s infotainment system, powered by Steam, a digital video game distribution service.
Tesla’s update release notes suggest that any Steam Deck-compatible game will also be Tesla-compatible, meaning games such as Cyberpunk 2077 (as shown in the video) and Elden Ring will now be playable in-car alongside many other titles.
Furthermore, the Tesla vehicle will also make use of Steam’s cloud synchronization feature, meaning gameplay can be continued from any other Steam-compatible device.
The gaming service will require 6GB DDR memory and Premium Connectivity.
