Bentley Motors has introduced the Batur Convertible, the third coachbuilt Bentley of the modern era, crafted by Mulliner. Following the hand-crafted Bacalar barchetta and Batur coupe, the Batur Convertible continues Mulliner’s tradition of creating bespoke vehicles tailored to client preferences.
Retaining Bentley’s 750ps W12 engine, the Batur Convertible is designed to embody the essence of open-air grand touring. Inspired by nature, this limited edition vehicle has color and material options never seen before on a production Bentley.
With a two-door, two-seat configuration and a retractable roof, the Batur Convertible is designed to provide increased personalization options, with customers able to specify the the ‘Airbridge’, tonneau cover and roof materials. Clients will be able to collaborate with Mulliner’s in-house design team to create their unique Batur Convertible, selecting from a wide range of customizable options. From paint choices to exterior brightware and interior finishes, they will have the opportunity to personalize every aspect of their vehicle, says Bentley.
Each vehicle will also be among the last Bentleys to feature the W12 engine.
Crafted over several months at Bentley’s factory in Crewe, England, production of the Batur Convertible will be limited to just 16 pieces.
The engineering development car, the Batur Convertible Car #0 showcases the attention to detail applied to each vehicle, Bentley says. With bespoke paintwork and high-gloss carbon fiber accents, the car has been designed to act as an example of the unique craftsmanship of Bentley Mulliner.
