Ineos Automotive has introduced a new service called Arcane Works, which offers customers the opportunity to personalize limited editions of its Grenadier 4×4. This bespoke service enables the creation of hand-finished vehicles that carry a specifically tailored name, featuring exclusive new technologies and design elements.
Arcane Works leverages the body-on-frame platform of the Ineos Grenadier, which combines off-road capability with modern on-road driving refinements. Customers can work with specially curated craftsmen to add their personal style to the vehicles through bespoke design elements and materials.
Each limited edition will showcase unique features and will be engineered in Germany, built in France at the Ineos Automotive facility acquired from Mercedes-Benz in 2021, and then hand-finished. The vehicles will offer a choice of two straight-six, 3.0-liter BMW engines — the B57 diesel and B58 petrol.
George Ratcliffe, commercial director of Ineos Automotive, said, “Arcane Works is intended to create a truly individual 4×4, hand-finished with exclusive materials and personalized touches by specially curated craftsmen.
“We know this is something our customers have been looking for, and working in small batches means we can give them a genuinely custom-made experience. That’s why we chose the name Arcane, as the vehicles will be so unique as to be rarely spotted in the wild.”
The first Arcane Works limited edition vehicle is set to be unveiled in July 2024 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
