Fisker has revealed the specs for the Ocean, its all-electric luxury SUV which features an entirely vegan interior.
Production is due to start in the fourth quarter of 2021 with high-volume deliveries targeted to start in 2022.
Sustainability is a focus for the interior, which is entirely vegan, while the carpets are made from recycled fishing nets and plastic bottles collected from the world’s oceans.
The heads-up display is integrated into the windshield and complemented by a 16in center touchscreen and a 9.8in cluster screen.
Los Angeles-based Fisker is working on integrating a Karaoke mode that will display lyrics from songs in the windshield without the driver having to take their eyes off the road.
California Mode lowers glass windows and panels to open the cabin with one touch while maintaining a full roll cage safety structure.
It allows the rear hatch glass to drop, meaning long items can be placed through the opening without having to drive with an open tailgate.
Henrik Fisker, chairman and CEO of Fisker, said, “We have delivered the Fisker Ocean in record time: not just another show vehicle, but a drivable production-intent prototype sitting on a fully engineered and durability-tested platform, with a production-ready powertrain and battery pack. The future is about delivering product value, sustainability and a unique customer experience.”
