The Nexus door panel concept has been unveiled by Antolin, aimed at redefining mobility innovation from within the vehicle.
Developed by Antolin’s North American Innovation Department, Nexus has been designed to address complexity reduction while offering a virtual concept designed to meet client requirements.
Antolin has forged alliances with key partners like Walter Pack and PersiSkin and wants to evolve door panel solutions, from sustainable materials to valuable technologies.
Nexus offers four visions suitable for various mobility and driving modes: E-sential Line for affordability and quality; Premium Line for an upgraded mobility experience; Car Sharing for creating personalized spaces; and Self-Driving for onboard comfort.
Nexus carrier incorporates a high recycled content polymer, along with monomaterial parts and natural or bio-sourced coverings, aligning with circular economy principles, the company states.
To enhance the user experience, Nexus integrates an advanced human-machine interface (HMI) and sensing and intuitive touch technologies tailored to each vision. Features like a 3D hologram driving assistance system, backlit solutions for creating ambience and smart decorative surfaces with active mirroring enable a personalized in-car environment.
The door pocket also serves as a versatile plug-and-play element, while an additional storage area doubles as a sanitization compartment for personal goods.
