To strengthen marketing activities in the automotive industry, Asahi Kasei America has relocated to a larger facility in Novi, Michigan.
The company states that as the automotive materials sector is changing significantly due to the increasing number of electric vehicles on the road, it will use its new headquarters to showcase materials to meet this demand. Through the relocation, the company also aims to strengthen its relationships with OEMs and other suppliers in the region.
The Novi Office has been designed as a functional space, capable of hosting exhibits and technical demonstrations, enabling Asahi Kasei to showcase product characteristics and features while catering to customer requirements. It also has a product showroom, complete with Asahi Kasei’s AKXY POD vehicle interior concept and a demonstration car exhibiting future company technologies.
“We are excited to embark on this journey of growth and innovation,” explained Iichiro Kitsuda, executive vice president of strategic planning and marketing, Asahi Kasei America. “As the mobility world continues to accelerate in various areas, Asahi Kasei is committed to building a stronger foundation for the future.
“The office expansion allows us to strengthen collaborations with our esteemed OEM and Tier 1 partners while showcasing our latest technologies. It aligns with our growth plan, driving us to continuously offer innovative products to an ever-changing market.”
