German wire weaving specialist Haver & Boecker has been producing woven wire cloth for vehicle interiors for many years. For the latest expansion of its automotive product range, the company says it has taken on board suggestions, ideas and desires from interior designers. Professionals such as these have a feel for new trends and the result, the company says, is a collection of new patterns and colors: Haver Structura Flair.
Do you need a pinstripe or chevron pattern for your latest concept? This can be catered for with the new range. So too can multi-color patterns, thanks to the use of interwoven stainless steel wires coated in PET monofilaments using a broad range of colors. There is even the ability to create irregular or regular patterns. Design mesh can also be specified with different optical properties, either transparent or solid yet still possessing the ability to transmit light from back illumination.
According to the company, this broad range of finishes and textures means that this stainless-steel wire mesh, associated with elegance and high quality, is an attractive alternative to other furnishing elements such as textiles, leather and wood. Meanwhile, with an average fabric thickness of just 0.5mm, the material can conform to complex three-dimensional forms.
Haver & Boecker will be debuting its latest range at Automotive Interiors Expo Europe 2021 on November 9-11, in Stuttgart, Germany, and the company is also accepting pre-orders for sample packs, here.
