Škoda has unveiled the new Elroq, which features a range of sustainable interior materials, including Recytitan and Technofil. The company says the Elroq’s interior is designed to prioritize “simplicity, spaciousness and clean lines”, while also focusing on sustainability.
The Elroq has four interior design options — Studio, Loft, Lodge and Suite — each incorporating sustainable materials. For instance, the Loft selection uses Recytitan, a fabric made from 78% recycled PET, including plastic bottles and recycled clothing. Recytitan is used extensively throughout the interior, including on door panels, seat covers and the dashboard. This material is combined with artificial leather and highlighted by yellow reflective stitching.
Lodge features Technofil, a material containing Econyl yarns made from recycled nylon sourced from old fishing nets and fabric scraps. This design pairs black fabric with light grey artificial leather, accented by orange stitching and matching seatbelts.
