American automotive manufacturer Polaris has chosen a stage-4 high-output 800W audio system from Rockford Fosgate for select 2025 RZR models, including the RZR Pro R, Pro S and Pro XP Ultimate.
The stage-4 factory audio system includes the ride command source unit; a pair of front 100W 1in tweeters; a pair of 100W 6.5in component front and coaxial rear speakers; a 400W four-channel amplifier; and a 10in subwoofer with a 400W subwoofer amplifier.
The system’s engineering includes speakers and amplifiers with longer voice coils and new motor structures, for improved sound clarity and bass response. The amplifiers use constant power technology, designed to boost performance while minimizing distortion. They also feature thermal protection, to ensure operation without adding strain to the vehicle’s electrical system.
Zach Luke, managing director at Rockford Fosgate, said, “These new audio kits truly represent the apex of audio performance and showcase unparalleled sound in a side-by-side. Our engineering team pulled out all the stops to push the boundaries of sound that performs in the outdoor environment and give the rider everything they have been asking for.”
For models without the Ultimate trim, audio system options range from stage 1 through stage 4 for Sport models and stage 3 through stage 6 for select Premium models.
