Automotive electronics company Wolfbox has launched two new dashcams. The G900 TriPro three-channel mirror dashcams have a large, 12in touchscreen rearview mirror and are available as an in-cabin or bumper-mounted camera.
The two models build on the success of their predecessor – the Wolfbox G900 Pro Mirror Dash Cam – with enhanced features such as clearer night vision, higher resolution imaging and a 5.8GHz/8MB video transmission speed that enables users to swiftly download their videos in real time.
According to Wolfbox, it is the first three-channel touchscreen rearview mirror dashcam with a bumper camera, designed to eliminate blind spots and augment driving safety in low-light, backlit and night-time conditions. Both the cabin and bumper cameras use HDR recording to accurately capture license plates and surrounding details, even in direct sunlight or headlight glare.
Both Wolfbox G900 TriPro models are equipped with Sony IMX678 Starvis 2 sensors and the rear camera leverages PureCel Plus pixel technology, which significantly enhances sensor sensitivity and full well capacity to pick up more light. This technology boosts low-light performance and improves color reproduction, enabling the rear camera to deliver 4K clarity and superior low-light performance.
Drivers can also choose between single-screen and multi-screen display modes – enabling drivers to maintain 360° awareness of their surroundings, both inside and outside the car.
The Bumper version of the Wolfbox G900 TriPro is designed with SUVs and 4×4 trucks in mind. It features two-channel weatherproofing and is tested to withstand submersion in up to 1m of water for 12 hours, notes Wolfbox.
The Cabin version of the Wolfbox G900 Tripro, meanwhile, is equipped with four infrared sensors that illuminate the vehicle cabin with a non-intrusive glow, making it easier to see in the cabin at night.
